Lemon Cake Mix Cookies

15 Oct

This is another twist on the cake mix cookie recipe I posted previously. It uses the same base recipe as the carrot cake mix cookies, just with lemon cake mix and white frosting instead.

Lemon Cake Mix Cookies:

  • 1 Box Lemon Cake Mix
  • 1/4 Cup of Oil
  • 4 Tbsp Water
  • 1 Egg
  • White Frosting
  • Yellow Sprinkles

Begin by mixing together the cake mix, oil, water and egg.

The batter will be thick and somewhat sticky. Use a large spoon to scoop the batter out and into a ball shape, then arrange on a cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until they look like this:

Allow the cookies to cool and then spread an even layer of white frosting on top.

Finish with yellow sprinkles and serve.
