Peanut butter lovers, prepare for glory. If you love a Reese’s cup (and who doesn’t?) you will adore these cupcakes. They consist of a chocolate cupcake with a peanut butter filling. As if that’s not decadent enough, they are then smothered with a sweet peanut butter frosting and a drizzle of melted peanut butter. Finally they’re topped with a miniature Reese’s cup.
Here’s a preview of the final product. Drooling yet?
They turned out great- sinfully sweet and absolutely delicious. Thanks Jenine!!
The cupcake stand was a gift from my sister, isn’t it adorable? It’s like serving a bouquet of cupcakes.
My friend Jenine had a birthday recently, so I decided to make cupcakes. Jenine really loves lemon (you should see how many wedges she squeezes into her water) so I wanted to come up with a bright, citric, lemon-based cupcake for her. The result was these lemon lime cupcakes with a lemon curd filling and lemon frosting. HOLY LEMON!
These cupcakes are fun for kids and adults alike. They are also a really good idea if you are having a 70’s themed party. If you prefer you can make a whole cake in this style, rather than individual cupcakes. Either way this dessert is sure to be a hit.
My nephew Tyler’s first birthday party was today and I offered to bring cupcakes. I had seen cupcakes made to look like the Cookie Monster before, but most of the time they were a hot mess. I decided to give it a try myself.
If you love chocolate covered strawberries (and really who doesn’t?) then this is the recipe for you. Brownies with dark chocolate frosting topped with a chocolate covered strawberry YUM! I make them in cupcake form so they can be served individually and they look really pretty and impressive even though they are easy to make.
